Verse 1

All praises due, thank the Lord for my deen, no matter what they did to me I was born to succeed. Kinda scary the journey, the findings vary, the learnings, the blessings that I was given was rarely monetary. God’s wisdom, God’s teachings, God reached him, odd nixing through fighting and hard living. Facts only I was supposed to be dead, had hollow tips just a hair length close to my head. So I pray kneeling over my bed, hoping these flashbacks seize and it’s replacement is some closure instead. That ambition is something that I was scorned with, they say it can’t be attained it’s something you born with. One of the major reasons that I made it, had nothing to do with luck or a member of someone’s favored. It’s just the way I was designed, guess you can say it’s divine.

All praises due, thank the Lord for my deen, no matter what they did to me I was born to succeed. They told me someone would murk me (be)for I was twenty four, on my 25th told em kiss my ass I got plenty more. Some said i’d be nothing more than who raised me, some said I would never exceed who made me. My response is every man has his own path, and ain’t no limit on where ambition can take me. Over the years they’d tried tactics of suppression, though my soul felt tested I opted to never listen. Makes you question who sent them and their intentions, this is everyday as i’m thumbing through all my mentions. 4 years 2 additions to my calling tho, amazing how I found solace in my daughter’s souls. The sweetest fruit that adorns all my needs, though I know I was Raised To Fail, I was Born To Succeed.
